![]() ![]() I worked for 6 years in the food industry where I served customers almost every day of the week. Let me first start by saying that I have never once posted a bad review. They were very accommodating in allowing us to move our dates so we didn?t miss out on our trip or lose money. I should also mention that we had our trip booked 2 weeks prior and came down with covid. We let Angela the owner know in which she was very understanding in looking into it. Our only complaint- the bathroom was so so cold which made showering and using the toilet a brisk task. We will definitely be returning in the spring when warmer so we can enjoy the premises more as it is very large and I can only imagine it is beautiful when not covered in snow. After tasting several wines, my husband and I both agreed the deuce and a half was our favorite! She was also informative about the winery in general, telling us all about the locally sourced meat, etc. The young lady working the front desk was so sweet and talked us through the wines during the tasting. I would have ordered it the second night but I figured I would try something new instead. I had the poached lobster sandwich which was SO good. The salad was not overly complex but incredibly delicious and something I looked forward to the next evening. (The cold weather and recent heavy snow made us not want to leave much). We did leave the cabin twice to have dinner- all of which was fantastic. ![]() I will be purchasing comphy co sheets in my near future! The bed was amazingly cozy- so much that my husband was annoyed that I wanted to nap several times throughout our stay and continue to sleep in long after he had been awake. As a newer mother, sleep is a rarity and I look forward to the times I get to sleep in. The whirlpool tub was a nice addition as was the fireplace. The cabins were cute and quaint with all you would need for a reasonably priced getaway and within walking distance to the winery which was a plus. ![]() My husband and I stayed two nights, renting one of the cabins. Our recent stay at Hidden Lake Winery was a nice retreat from the day to day hustle and bustle of life. ![]()
